Maggie Schelhaas
Originally from Sterling, Illinois, Maggie earned her degree in Fashion Merchandising from Eastern Illinois University. She got her start working at an interior design firm, explored the world of financial advising for a bit, and ultimately found her way back to her creative roots. In November 2024, she moved to Omaha with her boyfriend—and soon after, joined the JH Interior Design team.
Things took off quickly (in true JH fashion). Within her first six months on the job, Maggie got engaged, discovered she was expecting, and got married. We like to say she fully embraced the “life moves fast” mantra—and somehow made it all look effortless.
As a Design Assistant, Maggie keeps projects moving with organization, style, and a calm energy that’s instantly grounding. She’s loving her new city, her growing family, and the chance to be part of beautiful spaces from the inside out.
